The new Nv2 (TDMA) Sxt 5HnD CPE by Mikrotik can suprise with the speed, configurability and scalability. Even though it has only Level3 of Mikrotik License it is enough to make PtP bridge. This is an example shows how the bridge be done using MPLS instead of WDS.
802.11a is the fastest FTA wireless frequency. With Ubiquiti's TDMA protocol speeds over 150Mbps can be achieved. Also Mikrotik has invented NV2 where similar speeds can be achieved. 5Ghz spectrum has much more non overlapping channels compared to 2.4ghz, therefor it is wisely to use this frequency on crucial links. The 5Ghz frequency is much more sensitive to Line of Sight and it should be used only where clear LOS is estableshed between the nodes (including Fresnel Zone)
